A little Piece Of Europe::Hannah

I received a message at 5am from a model asking if I was available to shoot that day. First thing that came to my head was, did this girl really just wake me up at 5am?!! But I thought, why not do a shoot. If I wasn’t I will probably just lay in bed and Netflix all day.

This shoot was extremely last minute and we had nothing planned. Me and Hannah had talked before so we had one outfit in mind, but the rest was up in the air. I am fresh from my Europe trip so I knew I wanted to have a european/parisean vibe with this shoot. I grabbed a dress shirt of mine, a beret and sunglasses I had laying around and formed a second outfit for the shoot. The one thing I asked of Hannah was to bring all the jewelry she had. I wanted her to be shining for this shoot. Foreshadowing, she did not disappoint. Since time wasn’t on our side I went to my go to shoot location where I knew lighting is perfect almost every hour of the day. I’m not going to reveal my top secret location but every time I shoot there, I get a whole different vibe than the last shoot. The location is not fancy or has anything unique, it’s just another normal neighborhood. I just seem to make it work for me. This shoot is a prime example that you don’t need a fancy studio or a crazy location to get great photos. You just need a little creativity.

Meeting Hannah for the first time was amazing. She is absolutely beautiful and has a great energy to be around. She made my life easy. Hannah was able to capture the vibe I was going for and exceeded my expectations. She has this personality that truly reflects in the photos. She is edgy, full of attitude, but also elegant and graceful. I think she got this european vibe down don’t you think? When I said she came prepared, I wasn’t joking. Hannah had necklaces, earrings, and rings that could outfit a household! This was by far one of my favorite shoots and it took me by surprise. From a 5am message and scrambling to figure out outfits and a location to creating something special.

The shoot was styled and shot my me. We were able to achieve four looks with three outfit changes. I wanted to achieve a warm energy for this shoot but other than that I was going with the flow with this shoot.

Like The 80s::Sera

It was mid July and I was approaching my big european backpacking trip and that was all I can think about. Was in full blown vacation mode and all I wanted to do was sit beachside with a cocktail in hand. With my love for vintage films I started diving into vintage european beach vibes which lead me to an 80s Miami Vice inspiration for this shoot.

Do you remember those tacky 80s beach commercials with the upbeat music, girls in bikinis and roller-skates playing by the beach? Well, that was what was playing in my head the whole time I was brainstorming. Bringing in the baby blues, pastels, and neon colors mixed with european beach vibes we got something special. I knew I wanted to include a little nudity for this shoot to put the cherry on top of the whole vibe. This was a mix of Rebellious, Elegance, and Freedom.

I asked Sera to be my model for this shoot and I am fortunate to have her. This being my first nude shoot I didn't know what to expect or how to approach it. I just needed to be professional and build a comfortable relationship and environment for Sera. I am really impressed with Sera and how she embraced the vibe I was going for and went into the shoot and absolutely killed it. (I mean, look at the photos. They are FIREEEE). Sera is a beautiful woman with an amazing personality and I truly enjoyed shooting with her. Thank you!

Out Of Body::Nessa

An idea for a photoshoot came to me while I was laying in bed. It was approaching sunset and the warm summer light came crashing into my room. My bedroom already has mad comfy vibes, but when the warm light entered the bedroom a whole new vibe was created. When I looked around the room, everything had an orange hue. It made me feel like I was in an vintage intimate film. I had an idea of how great of a feeling it is to come home after a long day and to take a warm shower and be lazy in bed for the rest of the evening. Clothes are off, no obligations, you're free and unrestricted.

I asked Nessa to be the model for this shoot and that was the best decision I've ever made. I knew Nessa was beautiful but when meeting her for the first time, she had me shook. (hahaha). But the thing that impressed me the most was how effortless it was for her to understand and achieve the vibe I was going for. She has that perfect balance of attitude and grace that is extremely difficult to find. Just look at the photos and see for yourself, she's beautiful.

The shoot turned out so much better than I expected. We were able to get four different looks with three unique vibes. For myself, that is huge to be able to get that much content in a single photoshoot. The primary vibe I wanted to get was the warm and relaxed vibe, and I did that. Looking at the photos these words came to mind to describe it: Solace, Pure, Touch, Beauty, Attitude, and Attraction. There is WAY too much VIBES in this shoot.
